Is Geometry Wars on iOS?
At the time of writing, Geometry Wars is not sold on the iOS App Store. Games disappear from the App Store for many reasons: licences end, publishers stop updating them, or iOS changes break old builds. Once a game is removed, new buyers cannot get it.
If you bought it before
- Open the App Store, tap your profile, then Purchased.
- Search the list for Geometry Wars.
- If it appears with a download button, you may still be able to install it; whether it runs well on current iOS is another matter.
Where Geometry Wars still lives
Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved has been available on Steam and consoles. Check its store page for current platform support if you want the real thing on a computer.
Neon arena shooters for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV instead
If you want the Geometry Wars feel on Apple devices: an open arena, waves of distinct enemies and a score to chase, look for multidirectional shooters. Captain Star is on iPad, Apple TV and Mac. On Apple TV it plays with a controller; on Mac and iPad, one pointer or touch moves and aims your ship.
