What Down The Drone does on iPhone

Down The Drone is an iPhone-only game because it depends on something only the iPhone provides in this form: ARKit world tracking. The phone builds an understanding of the room from its camera and motion sensors, and the game places drones at fixed points in that space. Turn away and the drone above your table is still there when you turn back.

That is what separates it from a 3D shooter with a camera feed behind it. The level is wherever you are standing — your hallway is cover, your garden is an open field with none.

The game runs with no ads, no trackers and no forced connectivity. Put the phone in airplane mode and it plays exactly the same, which is the simplest way to confirm that for yourself.
